Hold 'em Hostage G!

I sat down to watch this movie without much of an idea what it was going to be about (except for the obvious). Thus started a 2 hour decent into the ass-numbing tension of a double edged Hostage drama.

Basic Synopsis: Guy has bad experience as hostage negotiator. Moves to a small town, guess what happens!? - gets called to a local disturbance that soon unfolds into a lot more than he bargained for.

Hostage started slow and progressed to a heart-stopping sequence that I am unlikely to forget for a few nights at least! This film is DARK, quite disturbing and it definitely had my attention from beginning to end. Willis was also in classic form and really convinced me that he was feeling some serious gut-knarling emotion.

If you like finger nail marks in your furniture and enjoy watching lots of killing, blood and traumatic situations then this movie is for you.

I give Hostage 3/5, although I wouldn't watch it more than once.

Hitch up the wagon

After watching Hitch I had renewed hope that I could actually have a chance in the dating sphere. It offers some great advice for those with fewer social graces. Seriously, I thought that this was an excellent romantic comedy that actually lives up to the "comedy" aspect. I laughed at the funny bits, felt mild ammounts of empathy at the difficult parts, and enjoyed the story.

Basic synopsis: A man who teaches dateless wonders how to become irresistible to women learns just how hard it can be to do it yourself in this romantic comedy.

I give Hitch 3.5/5 (How would YOU rate Hitch)

Starring: Will Smith, Eva Mendes, More
